Sprout Story offers a Communication and Technology (CaT) platform with solution services for the Thai SME's to display their products and services in our online channel to be recognised in the World Wide Web e-commerce marketplace and promote in sprout store front for retail sales.

Our community platform solutions help bridge the gap between buyers and sellers, each with their own individual areas of expertise. This diminishes the need to be proficient across multiple industries and technologies. Each participant offers their own unique skillsets and knowledge for the greater good.


Our sales strategy is based on the belief that there will be a regular flow of first-time customers, due to our convenient location. The real sales effort will be to focus on the conversion of each first-time customer into a long-term customer relationship, where these customers come regularly to our “SPROUT STORY” shop and also bring or recommend new friends to share their experience.

This focus recognizes that it would cost our company less money to convert a new customer into a long-term relationship than it does to attract a new customer. With this in mind, our sales activities will concentrate on keeping existing customers happy, and always meet or exceed their expectations.

Consistent, customer-centric service is an absolute requirement in the hospitality industry, and so it is for all our employees. Every member of our team will be empowered to deal with our customers’ requests in such a way that no customer should leave dissatisfied. Problem solving will be encouraged throughout the organization, and it would also be fair to say that each employee is part of the sales staff, not only the first-line servers.


Sprout Story has valuable inside intel that helps insure its success. These advantages include:

a) Location: The boom in the area is primarily in response to new business and employment opportunities in the Sukhumvit 77 area, the heart of a a growing middle-upper class, estimated to house more than 500,00 residents. There are already over 1,000 businesses in the immediate vicinity. Most of these residents are families of 3 or more. The average income for the area is 20,000-300,000 baht.

b) Product: We have a clear vision of the new trends and market needs. We know our customer’s needs. We are familiar with the latest technologies, and we have the “Solution” that will bring it all together.

c) Service: Our counter service provide small business support in the form of smart farmer consulting, financial, marketing, logistic and business development services.

Here at SPROUT STORY, we embrace the “Sharing Economy”, also known as the access economy, peer-to-peer (P2P) or collaborative economy whereby goods and services are not owned by a single user, rather temporarily accessed by members of a specific network. Underutilized assets are then shared (fee/free) including investing, bartering, lending, trading, renting, gifting, sharing and swapping as redefined through technology and peer communities.

IMT Group provides a Sharing Economy Community called, “SPROUT STORY”, an innovative marketplace model serving as a communication, marketing and logistics channel for farmers and OTOP vendors to offer their products, services and solutions. Our platform will reduce middlemen and complicated processes, helping customers focus on their core business instead of being impeded by finance, marketing, logistics, technology and payment obstacles.

Sprout’s mission is to provide customers with an easy and secure way to order from the niche marketplace in their area.

Present -- Future

In 2020, a group of believers founded the marketplace ordering service Sprout in Thailand. The service is a super platform through which consumers can browse restaurants, producers, manufactures, and farmers in their areas, place a meal order, parcel service, groceries, passenger, then have it delivered to them. The two men were ambitious, with Sprout expanding to other communities by the end of the year. By the end of 2020, its reach grew by an additional ten communities. As of June 2020, the total number is zero to one.

Sprout has a multi-sided business model, with three interdependent customer segments that are needed in order to operate:

  • Consumers - Individuals who want to be able to order foods from restaurants online.
  • Restaurants - Restaurants that want to be able to obtain customers outside usual channels.
  • Farmers - Producers can be able sell directly to customers and restaurants online outside of their offline channels.

Value Proposition

Sprout Story offers seven primary value propositions: accessibility, convenience, customization, cost reduction, and brand/status, economically and prosperity.

The company creates accessibility by enabling producers to market themselves to restaurants and customers who do not want to visit the physical location and might have difficulty finding their products and services information online.

The company offers convenience by enabling consumers to place orders from websites or through its mobile app. Orders can be made 24/7, with a pre-order option also available. Further, consumers have the option of picking up orders or having them delivered, and paying with all major credit cards or with cash. Customers can also easily obtain general impressions of the outlets through reviews.

The company offers customization by allowing customers to filter restaurant and producers choices by type of foods and to filter meals by category (appetizers, main course, desserts, etc.).

The company reduces costs by offering a number of daily deals, such as free deliveries or food and drink discounts. These features save customers money and enable them to try new offerings.

The company has built a strong, basic and fundamental foundation because of its business model. It now operates in Bangkok, Thailand working with more than 100 restaurants.


Sprout’s main channel for consumers is its super platform. Our main channel for restaurants and supply chain producers are the Sales/Business Development team. The firm promotes their service through its social media pages website and sprout communication such as Sprout’s POS and Line app platform.

Customer Relationships

Sprout’s customer relationship is primarily of a hybrid-services, automated nature. Customers utilize the service through the website while having unlimited interaction with live chat or person. That said, there is a personal component in the form of phone, text messaging app, POS notification and email support.

Sprout’s business model entails maintaining a robust common platform between multiple parties: consumers, restaurants and farmers.

Key Partners

Sprout does not have a formal partner program. However, it sometimes forms partnerships with similar products and services to expand its reach.

Key Resources

Sprout’s main resources are its technology, sales, logistics and customer service sprout members. In addition, as a relatively new start-up it has relied heavily on funding from outside parties, raising 2 million baht from six investors as of July 2020.

Cost Structure

Sprout has a cost-driven structure, aiming to minimize expenses through significant automation and low-price value propositions. Its biggest cost driver is likely sales/marketing, a fixed cost. Other major drivers are in the areas of customer support/operations and administration, also fixed expenses.

Sprout has multiple revenue streams categorize the earnings a business generates from certain pricing mechanisms and channels. To describe it simply, a revenue stream can take the form of one of these revenue models:

Sprout’s Point of Sales (POS)

Transaction/Usage Fees -- The company charges listed restaurants, suppliers, producers a commission for all purchase transactions made; Transaction-based revenue: Proceeds from sales of goods that are usually one-time customer payments. A package delivery service charges customers for the delivery of a parcel from one location to another. The more a service is used, the more the customer pays.

Advertising Fees – The company charges third-parties a fee to advertise their offerings on its website and in its mobile app. The revenue stream results from fees for advertising a particular product, service, or brand. In recent years other sectors, including software and services, have started relying more heavily on advertising revenues.

Subscription fees -- This Revenue Stream is generated by selling continuous solutions access to a point of sales (POS). Sprout, a Web-based Operating System, allows buyers and sellers to trade or exchange its online products and services for a fee.

Lending/Renting/Leasing -- This Revenue Stream is created by temporarily granting someone the exclusive right to use a particular asset for a fixed period in return for a fee. For the lender this provides the advantage of recurring revenues. Renters or lessees, on the other hand, enjoy the benefits of incurring expenses for only a limited time rather than bearing the full costs of ownership.

Licensing -- This Revenue Stream is generated by giving customers permission to use protected intellectual property in exchange for licensing fees. Licensing allows rights holders to generate revenues from their property without having to manufacture a product or commercialize a service. Licensing is common in the media industry, where content owners retain copyright while selling usage licenses to third parties. Similarly, in technology sectors patent holders grant other companies the right to use a patented technology in return for a license fee.

Facilitator/Project fees -- This Revenue Stream derives from intermediation services performed on behalf of two or more parties. Facilitator earns a commission each time they successfully match a buyer and seller. Revenues are generated by providing service to customers and are calculated based on time. Revenue earned through one-time projects with existing customers.

Royalty Income -- This is the revenue that you get as a result of letting someone use your products, ideas, or process. They make all the revenue, they do all the hard work and we get a small percentage of whatever they earned.

Capital Gains

This is the money you get as a result of an increase in value of the asset that you own. For e.g. when you buy shares at 1,000 baht and sell them 1.500 baht - the 500 baht is capital gains.

Dividend Income

The income gets even better than renting income. It is equally passive and not only that, it also makes you a shareholder of a company. This is the money that you get as a return on shares of a company you own For e.g. the dividend that most companies announce at the year end. The better this stream of income sounds, the more ignored and neglected is this source of income.

These are the 8 keys instruments that we can generate adequate cash flow and still get very good income. These are a great source of passive income where your active involvement is not needed once the investment is done. When combined with the power of compounding, and the fact that this is a true passive income with least amount of risk, this can beat any of the first 2 sources of income generation hands down.

We have something unique and then make it repeatable. We have the special skills to create such an asset but once created, there is virtually no limit to the amount of money you can earn.
